Snow, a little dusting can make anything beautiful, and so quiet too. Yesterday morning it started snowing and just didn’t stop. So we layered up against the cold, wandered through the peacefulness with our boy, and just forgot about everything. Bliss.

You know when you just gotta have something and you get up early and spend the whole day refreshing the web page? Yeah that was me when Balmain x HM went on sale. I had to have those thigh high boots, unfortunately so did everyone else and even with my massive feet they sold out before I could get them in my basket. A close second were these green suede biker trousers. When I finally got on the site they were the only thing left and in my size! This girl gotta have them, it was fate. After my awesome party last year we decided on a little getaway for my birthday/new year this year. After much online searching I found the Bridge of Orchy Hotel. A lovely little 4 star hotel, close enough to the central belt we didn’t have to travel for hours but far enough away to take us to the middle of nowhere. They are also extremely dog friendly so little Seb was welcome. Continue reading “For Auld Lang Syne”
There’s not been many posts recently. Life has been getting in the way yet again. My wonderful sister/photographer has not been very well so outfit photos were a none starter. Hopefully get some shots this weekend though. Yesterday saw the end of my last big stress at work for the year and only four days of work left. So more no worries, just time to enjoy ourselves and be merry. Continue reading “From Now On, Our Troubles Will be Miles Away”
Have you noticed the cute little dog-equins in River Island’s shop windows the last few weeks? This Christmas they’ve teamed up with The Dog’s Trust to raise some cash for the wonderful charity. Tomorrow all the dog-equins go on sale in stores around the UK. I like a cute little Labrador named Riley, but I think Seb might get jealous. Seb’s not been left out … Continue reading A Dog is for Life, Not Just for Christmas
Another day another walk in the park, just a little bit of a change in the temperature though. Yip autumn is here; though as I look out of my window this morning and see frost on my car I’m thinking maybe did we jump right into winter? To be fair I’m actually really enjoying this Autumn. In Glasgow we normally have lots of rain but … Continue reading I Went for a Walk, On a Winter’s Day?
Don’t you just love a long holiday weekend? In Glasgow this is our September weekend, which for me means Friday and Monday off work. If I could work Tuesday to Thursday every week I’d be a happy girl. So what to do with an extra day off work? Day trip of course and first thought is always the beach. I packed Seb up in the … Continue reading She was a Day Tripper
Last Sunday we knocked it out the park with our little beach day trip. The beach at Elie is even more gorgeous than we had hoped and the sun came out, who’d have expected that with the summer we’ve had. Nothing beats a day at the beach to clear out the cobwebs and brighten your mood. Throw in the happiest dog, some good friends and … Continue reading Take a Walk on the Beach
Love it I do, I’ve been craving some sunshine and it finallly arrived. Maybe the nails worked? It lasted all of one day mind you, that is something I don’t love. I must get thinking of some more summery designs, I want the sun back. Obviously when the sun comes out we instantly do our favourite thing and run around in it, anyone think of … Continue reading I Don’t Like it, I Love It
I think that little sceptical face says it all, glamorous? Maybe more glamorless. I don’t doubt the lives of the big fashion bloggers are pretty glamorous, but I know they worked damn hard to get there. For the rest of us it’s not the glamour that spurs us on by put the sheer love of it. Whether is the hours spent fighting with code … Continue reading The Glamorous Life of the Fashion Blogger?
