Why stop at a pop colour when you can cover yourself in them, right? It is supposed to be summer after all. Would love to say I planned this shoot but the perfectly matched colourful street art was a fluke find. When you have no ideas of where to shoot an outfit sometimes driving around aimlessly works out.

It’s a tough job the Fashion blogging business; you’ve got the outfit, found a photographer and place to shoot then the light goes. You will have heard bloggers rave about the magical golden hour, an hour before the sun goes down when the light is perfect for photo taking. What is it about clothing that makes me just have to have it? Everything else I can resist or logically consider whether the cost is worth the return. When it comes to fashion though my brain comes up with all sorts of crazy justifications for why I have to have it.

Monday was a sneaky local holiday here in Glasgow. With the sky looking a tad grey though we searched out the sun all the way to the east coast. North Berwick was a new beach for me and Seb and it didn’t disappoint. Sun is what we came for and sun we got, I even got a little sunburned.

The Burrell Collection in Glasgow is a stunning art collection, housed in an amazing building, nestled in a beautiful country park. The building is a mix of old and new and filled with natural light, can you think of a better place.
