What is it about clothing that makes me just have to have it? Everything else I can resist or logically consider whether the cost is worth the return. When it comes to fashion though my brain comes up with all sorts of crazy justifications for why I have to have it.
Technology does not help. I now have my bank cards linked to PayPal which in turn is linked to my favourite shopping apps. I don’t even need a password anymore, just a few clicks on my phone and my fingerprint and hey presto! It’ll be on my doorstep the next day. Dangerous!
This skirt is a perfect example, did I need another midi summer skirt? no. Did I buy one? Well obviously. The justification, I can wear her to work and on weekends. I may have no money to go out on weekends, but at least I’ll look good in the house right?
