It’s a tough job the Fashion blogging business; you’ve got the outfit, found a photographer and place to shoot then the light goes. You will have heard bloggers rave about the magical golden hour, an hour before the sun goes down when the light is perfect for photo taking. Clumsy me always seems to miss this perfect window though and end up in this almost half light.
Not that I’ll let that get me down though. Especially when said outfit comprises of the skinny jeans I’ve not been able to get on my body for longer than I care to consider. Gap are the perfect place for jeans, you get proper 100%, or close to, cotton that’ll last years without sagging at the bum or knees. This pair have been a staple in my wardrobe for some years and I’m glad all that working out and eating well means I can again get into them.
Now do I carry on all my good work or reward myself with pizza tonight, it is Friday after all.
Jeans – Gap
Tee – Gap
Scarf – Gift
Handbag – River Island
Heels – Primark
You can always make your own light. I’ve always respected David Hobby and his pioneering strobist movement. It got a whole generation of natural light photographers into the world of sculpting with strobes. http://strobist.blogspot.com/
