Barcelona – I Want to Ride my Bicycle

Bicycle-beach-barcelona

Is there a more European way to see a city than on a bicycle? I don’t think so. We cheated a bit and hired electric bikes from our hotel, you still need to peddle but you can turn power on if you need it. We needed it to get up the hill to our hotel on the way home but also to have a little drag race along the boardwalk.

The beach is another amazing part of Barcelona. It’s rare to have such an exciting city right next to the beach. A cycle along the shore, checking out the port, playing in the sand and grabbing a cocktail and tapas at the funky little bars is a great way to spend an afternoon.

What do we think of the visor folks? I fell in love with it when I saw it, the man however hates it. It was the perfect stylish accessory for a cycle in the sun but my day was filled with jokes from said man. Special mention to Tatyana at Secret Little Stars who introduced me to these shorts. I think this maybe my favourite outfit from my holiday, shame the weather in Glasgow isn’t going to allow it another outing anytime soon.

  1. I love the outfit! Men seriously don’t get fashion I wanted a neon transluscent one off missguided and bf hated it, I was like you hate everything! I wish I could cycle too as this looks lovely xxx

  2. I’m forever feeling sorry for myself having visited Barcelona in the depth of winter only. And then, of course, everyone goes off and visits in the summer and I feel super jealous. 😉 Well, lucky you. 🙂

I love hearing from you, let me know what you think
