Is it just me or does everyone have that one dress that is a million years old but still gets pulled out the wardrobe every summer? This is mine by the way, the best maxi dress there ever was.

It’s pretty standard to gain a few pounds over Christmas what with all that yummy food that’s floating around everywhere. For me it’s been more than a few and my waistline has expanded considerably. Apparently I’ll get even bigger over these last few weeks, I’m not entirely sure how that’s possible mind you.
I have to say I’m feeling a little smug this year when it comes to Christmas. Not only did I have all my presents purchased with over a week to spare, but I had most of them wrapped as well. That’s pretty good going if you ask me.

One of my favourite things about Glasgow is how easy and quick it is to escape to the countryside. Drive for less than an hour in just about any direction and you can find yourself lost in some wide open spaces.

This summer in Glasgow has been another disappointment. Very limited sunshine and when she did show face it was normally on a workday while I was stuck indoors. Why stop at a pop colour when you can cover yourself in them, right? It is supposed to be summer after all. Would love to say I planned this shoot but the perfectly matched colourful street art was a fluke find. When you have no ideas of where to shoot an outfit sometimes driving around aimlessly works out.

Our first trip to the Vatican was a massive fail. Not only did we miss the Pope’s blessing, we do like a lie in. But Sunday is not the day to visit the centre of the Catholic Church, everything is closed. Not really surprising. Just as well really as my outfit was not Vatican appropriate either, no uncovered shoulders or shorts people. We had time … Continue reading Sunday’s Getting More Bleak
Seems like I was talking complete rubbish on Friday when I said those were the only outfit photos I convinced the man to take. I don’t know how I forgot about the couple of balcony photo shoots we had, the bottles of prosecco I drank most afternoons maybe? I bought these trousers on a whim in the ASOS winter sale. I loved the colour but … Continue reading Roman Holiday
