Dark stormy skies and freezing temperatures call for all the layers and if you’re me a pop of colour. Who says yellow is just for summer.

Hangovers; every time I say I’ll never drink that much again, we all know that’s a lie. When you’re staying in St Andrews the whole nightmare is made easier with the stunning view you wake up to and the option of a wander along the beach.

Lots of people say Autumn is their favourite time of year and days like this I can see why. Wrapped up as the temperatures have dropped a little, but no so much that you need head to toe layers. The sun still making an appearance on blue skies and beautiful copper colours in the crispy leaves that litter the ground.

Buying vintage can be tough. Finding that perfect piece can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Once you find it there no guarantee it’ll fit even if it is your size as they can vary depending on the decade and style. This hat, I simply couldn’t resist it at the Scottish Blogger Shop. I loved it when Thankfifi first showed it off but as usual didn’t get round to buying one for myself. It was a total bargain so hardly even counts as breaking my spending ban.
