It’s so very British to talk about the weather, but when it’s this good it’s hard not too. This may be the first tine I’ve had to reduce the brightness in my photos rather than try and add some. What a lovely problem to have. 

So its hot and humid and the rain keeps threatening to come but it hasn’t yet. I’ve heard plenty people complaining it ‘too hot’ but I refuse to indulge them. In a country where it rains more often than not and we’re constantly lusting after some sun while complaining about the lack of it; it’s funny how quickly we tire of it when it finally arrives. The sun creeps out quietly here to take us by surprise and is all to easily scared away, so I make the most of it while I can. 

I’ll ditch my tights and jacket and make do with ankle boots on a day which really deserved sandals. The sunglasses are always tucked away in my secret car pocket. And when a last minute beach trip is out of the question, take a stroll around my beautiful city. You’re never far away from a park or at least a patch of grass for some impromtu sunbathing. 

Fingers crossed for more blue skies this weekend.
