Give or take a week we’re here, nine months. What you don’t realise, at least I didn’t, is that 40weeks is more like ten months than nine and most first pregnancies are overdue. So basically this little guy could arrive tomorrow or in a month, let’s hope for somewhere in the middle.

The last week has been a strange one. Starting with a funeral of someone close and ending with our 20week baby scan. That’s a mix of emotions right there.

Elastic, jersey even Lycra; anything that stretches has become a firm favourite with my ever disappearing waistline. You may have seen on instagram that we’re expecting our first baby, still seems surreal to say that. A whole new adventure for us with lots of challenges I suspect, the biggest challenge currently being getting dressed in the morning.
