This debut track from Casey Lowry has been floating around for a few weeks now and the more I hear it the more I like it. A catchy indie pop track, what’s not to like.
This is the kinda track you instantly love but after listening to it a fair few times it’s not lost it’s magic. If anything it’s gained some. The more you listen and get to know the lyrics you see the juxtaposition in the fun cheerful instrumentals and the sadness in the story of the song.
I just missed this guy in Glasgow at the end of February and I’m genuinely gutted. By all accounts he puts on an amazing show and has been selling out even prior to the release of this track, no small feat. Come back soon.
