With Autumn well and truly upon us it’s about time for some autumnal nails. In the blogger world nothing screams autumn more than burgundy, I’m sure you’re all sick of seeing the burgundy Matt lips. That didn’t put me off it as a choice for my nails though.

The glitter tips add that little extra, remind anyone else of the crisp coppery leaves littering the ground right now? I kept the nails matt by adding an extra layer of top coat over the glitter, it dulls the gloss but not the glitter perfectly. I do think my matt shellac top coat is a bit lacking though; I can’t seem to get that full chalkboard effect I see on pinterest and instagram. I have bluesky shellac, should I invest in the real deal?
