It’s Beginning to Look a lot like

I had a sneaky little early finish from work one day last week so took the opportunity to start my christmas shopping. I’ll never be one of these people that has everything organised weeks in advance for two reasons. Firstly I always have other things to organise with a bunch of birthdays throughout September, October an November. Secondly, I just don’t think christmas should start till December 1st.

Needless to say after around five minutes in town I was feeling very festive. There’s twinkly lights everywhere along with festive cheer in every shop. In Glasgow we also have a charming little Christmas Market on Argyle Street. I spent more money on the edible stalls than those bearing gifts though, oh well it is Christmas.

I did fall in love with a stunning faux fur collar you may have seen on Instagram, hopefully Santa did too, it worked well with my simple layered outfit. My top tip for choosing outfits for Christmas shopping, lots of light layers. It’s always roasting in the stores and nothing worse than trailing a big winter coat amongst all your shopping bags. Oh an no apologies for an almost entirely Primark outfit, it’s cheap for all those winter layers.

  1. Love your tip of wearing lots of light layers when shopping! It’s so simple yet I always make the mistake of wearing a big bulky jacket, it’s always a hassle dragging it around! Lovely outfit & post by the way! I love those reindeer lights, how pretty!
