I had a funky track all lined up for today’s new music Monday, but I spent the weekend watching sport and last night drinking cocktails and didn’t write it up, doh!

So here’s a little bit of Paolo instead. I absolutely love him and have done since I first heard, Last Request. His new album is nothing short of brilliant. I’ve been listening to it all weekend while trying not to cry at missing out seeing him at Radio 1’s Big Weekend which was in Glasgow this weekend.

This is my favourite track just now, though I fully admit that is likely to change after a few more listens. I love the contrast between the upbeat melody and the lyrics.

Hope you’re all getting to enjoy the bank holiday, or not having an awful day if your at work. I’m thinking McDonalds is on the cards for me to cure the hangover.
