Last week I popped along to a shopping event at Hummingbird. The event, Keep Calm and Go Shopping, certainly sounded like my kinda thing featuring collections from vintage clothing brands and handmade jewellery and accessory collections. I do like having something a bit different.
The brands were spread over the first and second floor of the bar. I made a beeline for the vintage clothing, well once they’re gone they’re gone. I particularly loved Annie and the Mannequins . They had a varied selection from colourful blouses to eighties leotards. I got a gorgeous dress, I had it on here, for only a tenner.
Downstairs, there were some gorgeous accessories on offer. Something different had the most amazing handmade hair accessories and shoe clips. I cant believe I didn’t take any pictures. The shoes clips were glittery bows which could be attached to any shoes. Such a clever idea to jazz up a plain pair.
I did manage to remember to take some photos of the treasures available from Ursula.
These cute rings, sunglasses and necklaces are all handmade. I picked up this gorgeous ring.
What a fun way to spend a Thursday evening.
