Cold As Ice

Heading into town on bank holiday is always a risky idea. Not surprisingly the place was mobbed. It was still freezing, think this if the first time I’ve seen snow on Good Friday. I decided that layers were the way to go. My gilet and a chunky knit was the perfect combo. I’d never been a fan of gilets till I got this one from my friend Sarah. They are wonderful at keeping you warm outside but not swelteringly hot inside.

I’d been trying to work out how to wear this skirt for a while. It’s a funny length and fabric, wool. These can be very unflattering and you need at least a little heel to balance out your calfs. The olive green tights add a little bit of colour to a neutral outfit.
