New nails for today. These took a while and are a bit fidgety, well worth it though. I used these little pearls which I got on eBay.

I decided to paint them deep purple with the pearls at the tips. I needed two coats of the purple.

I then started to add the pearls.

You can use tweezers to pick up the pearls but I find that too awkward. I just pick them up with my fingertip.

You are supposed to glue them on but it can be hard to get them in the right place. I use shellac so I simply paint the top coat and stick the pearls to it before curing. That way I can move them around and get them in place.

I finished by putting another top coat over the pearls just to make them doubly secure. What do you think?
