Did you know cineworld let you take babies into any screening on weekdays, not just those Mum and baby ones? Nope me neither. Well when I say any screening. . .
We were all set for Tully, baba in the wrap, seat selected and pick and mix purchased. Then we were asked for the baba’s ticket, yip they need their own little free ticket. And there’s the problem, they couldn’t issue him one because the movie is a 15 rating. The irony in not being able to see the movie about motherhood because you are in fact a new mother. Oh well The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society it was instead.
And then to continue the irony as soon as we stopped to take photos it rained. Or is that just the fake irony mentioned in the song rather than actual irony? Anyway, these were last week and the sun is now shining. Long may it continue and happy Friday.
