It’s that time of year again and fright night is just around the corner. This years halloween nails are far more subtle than their predecessors.
Maybe I’ve run out of inspiration or maybe because I haven’t decided on a Halloween costume so nothing to match them to yet. Any ideas? Should I use my now sizeable tummy as prop to the costume or go for something more traditional and scary?

Anyway back to the nails; these turned out better than I’d expected and only took little over 30mins. Start out with two coats of red and allow them to fully dry. Then add a big black strip at the top of the nail, I painted it straight across not curved like a french tip. While the black is wet use a bamboo stick to pull the colour down by just scribbling around where the black meets red. I found the less I tried to create the right effect the better it actually looked.
