With Christmas edging ever closer the only appropriate nail art is of course Christmas themed. After last years glitter trees, I kept it a little simpler this year. First up a painted my nails gold. I then added the blue edges. The plan was to add the green last and draw a wiggly line through to show the gold underneath. Unfortunately this didn’t work with shellac, I think you need regular polish and allow it to part dry before drawing the line. It did leave a little effect on the green though I’m not sure that shows up in these photos.

As my gold effect didn’t work, I added the little diamond for some sparkle last.

How is everyone’s Christmas prep going? As you can see my tree is up and I have bought and wrapped about half my presents. Plan is to get everything finished this weekend, fingers crossed.
