I don’t care what anyone says about guitar music, I love it just as much as I did in 1996, yup I’m that old. This track could slot into that Brit Pop scene quite easily. Though it is has that modern made in your basement sound to it.
Black Honey are one of those mysterious bands that no one really knew anything about. They didn’t even release a picture of themselves till recently. With an self titled EP under their belt and inclusion in the NME top 50 to watch in 2015, they are now well on their way.
You know I love a strong female front woman and Black Honey have definitely got one in the form of Izzy B. Phillips. Hopefully I can catch them in Glagow in November.
