When The George Hotel asked me if I wanted to come try out their new winter menu I was more than happy to oblige. Their Tempus Restaurant is lovely and a trip to Edinburgh gives me a chance to catch up with uni friends. I organised this a few weeks ago and it worked out perfectly. After a long stressful week a big glass of wine, yummy dinner and girly catch up was exactly what I needed. The staff I have to say were so polite and helpful, adding to a lovely evening.
I took the train through so I could indulge in that much need glass of wine. This also means time spent waiting in the cold so my winter coat got its first outing of the year. I haven’t picked up a new one yet so I freshened up last year’s by belting it up with my new tartan scarf. You won’t believe how happy I am that tartan is still in this winter!
Another tough week is almost over and I’m counting down the days to my holiday up north for the mans birthday, one week left.
