Last weekend I had plans to get some pretty summer photos in my fab new lime green maxi, Glasgow had other ideas though. With the rain pouring down I had to settle for some in the office, boring I know. This is my Primark outfit I picked up a few weeks ago. I coulda kept it simple with such a bright skirt but stripes are always a a good bet, even more so when they’re only £2.50! Once I’d added the stripes I figured I might as well keep going with the patterns so added a geometric print bomber and leopard flats.
The outfit got it’s debut on Sunday for the #loveyourclothes event hosted by the wonderful Betty&Bee. Nothing better than getting together with a lovely bunch of ladies on a rainy day to up cycle old clothes and fall in love with them again. Even better when there’s some top Scottish designers on hand to help out in the form of, Nikki and Dani McWilliams, Jennie Loof and Sylvia Pellegrino from ChouChou.
It was wonderful to finally meet Sylvia. She helped me transform my old jeans into some on trend studded and distressed ones. I also updated a boring old tee shirt with the help of Nikki McWilliams, some fabric paint and handmade stamps. Sure to be featured on here soon.
