Last Sunday me and the man went out for what was meant to be dinner, but turned into dinner and quite a few cocktails.
We went to The Boathouse in Kilsyth which is not far from us. The food is always delicious and there’s a great view out onto the canal. I’m going through a bit of a fish phase just now and got prawn tempura to start and haddock for my main. It did not disappoint.
I decided to try an apple martini after dinner, they were lovely and so easy to drink. I ended up having quite a few and found myself a little bit drunk.
Not surprisingly for Scotland the weather wasn’t the best. I opted to wear these boyfriend jeans, I’ve had for years. When it’s sunny I just wear them with sandals, I rolled them up since it was threatening rain. I added the bright and glittery accessories to brighten up the bank holiday weekend.
I’ve mentioned before how unhelpful the man is with my photos. Here’s an example of him photo bombing me, he thinks he’s hilarious!
