On the Cover of a Magazine

This months Vogue features the gorgeous Claire Danes looking very relaxed. Quite the opposite from how I’m used to seeing her now, anyone else loving Homeland? The cover doesn’t show the Louis Vuitton outfit off adequately, a long tweed coat and sweater dress. I’m not a fan of the pastel blue but love the style of the coat. Obviously they cost the earth with the … Continue reading On the Cover of a Magazine

Lavish Alice – Blogger Competition

I came across this little competition during one of my many hours looking at pretty clothes on the internet.  The idea is you create a wishlist, not hard as I fell in love with so many items. Lavish Alice will pick five lucky bloggers to style the same item from their collection. They will then pick one very lucky/stylish blogger as the winner and they … Continue reading Lavish Alice – Blogger Competition

Where have all the Cowboys Gone?

Here’s one, well cowgirl, hanging out in Princes Square, were else? There’s something about the tan leather, denim and pearl pop buttons that make me think of cowboys in this outfit. It should be a bad thing, but I really love it. Can’t believe it took me so long to get a denim shirt, I’ve been wearing this one with everything. These shorts were such … Continue reading Where have all the Cowboys Gone?

This months Vogue’s heralds the start of Autumn and showcases some top trends for next season. Tartan, you ready know is set to be my favourite. How I wish I could afford this Stella McCartney pastel number. Another top trend is pastels; not one I thought if go for until I saw this Balenciaga leather jacket. I couldn’t find a pastel tartan jumper that didn’t … Continue reading On the Cover of a Magazine

Booted Not Suited

I recently discovered Leren Connor’s range via twitter. I love checking out independent designers as you get something that bit different from the High Street. Leren has a few collections available through ASOS marketplace and runway republic and has an eclectic and quirky style. Her latest collection is a twist on your standard workwear entitled ‘Booted not Suited’. She has considered the modern working world and created styles around the jobs we … Continue reading Booted Not Suited

Heels so High, That You Can’t Even have a Good Time

I have some really bad news, my beloved blog shoes (see header above) are broken. I swear this almost made me cry when I realised. My man thinks he may be able to fix them, the bottom of the wedge has broken from the back, but I’m not holding my breath. I think this definitely requires new shoes, to replace the old ones and cheer … Continue reading Heels so High, That You Can’t Even have a Good Time

I Like those Stylish Clothes You Wear

I love Jennifer Aniston’s style, she looks great in everything. Day to day she’s got a relaxed look, jeans, cutoffs and simple tops. Perhaps it’s the gorgeous hair, glowing tan and fabulous figure that makes her look amazing in such simple outfits. I’m not jealous though because she’s so lovely, is there anyone out there that doesn’t love Ms Aniston? It’s easily recreated on the … Continue reading I Like those Stylish Clothes You Wear
