So Miquela amassed thousands of instagram followers last year despite no one knowing if she was a real person or not. Turns out she is a computer simulation. Though somehow that doesn’t stop her parading around backstage at rap shows and even performing herself.
I don’t know who created her, why or for how long she’ll continue. What I do know is I found this track over the weekend and couldn’t get it out of my head. Heavily auto tuned, perhaps not surprising given she’s a sim, but is got that cool electronic feel that so many tracks this year have had.

I’m not sure if we’ll get a proper video, though being a sim didn’t stop Gorillaz, this lyrics one will have to do for now.
