Elastic Heart

Elastic, jersey even Lycra; anything that stretches has become a firm favourite with my ever disappearing waistline. You may have seen on instagram that we’re expecting our first baby, still seems surreal to say that. A whole new adventure for us with lots of challenges I suspect, the biggest challenge currently being getting dressed in the morning.

I’m hoping it’ll actually be easier when I have a proper bump as just now I just look like I’ve eaten all the carbs for lunch. All my floaty stretchy summer holiday clothes have become everyday staples. An added challenge being we’ve had little summer to speak of in Glasgow, rain and wind are not a good combination for summer clothes.

I’d not bought anything new for weeks given the high chance it wouldn’t fit within a few weeks. When I spotted this jacket in the Monsoon sale I had to have it though. It’s not like my shoulders and arms are gonna get bigger right? The man thinks I look like a Michael Jackson reject, I think ill love it forever. What do you think?
