What a surprise it was to discover Joy Crookes is only 17. I know that every new artist out there seems to be under 18 these days, but still this girl emanates a maturity far beyond her years.

From South London, she’s like a wonderful mix of Lana Del Rey and Amy Winehouse but still entirely unique. All the press releases tell us she’s in the studio working on a soon to come debut album. It can’t come soon enough. 

This track has a more jazzy fun feel to it than her previous tracks, Sinatra and New Manhattan. The tongue and cheeky lyrics instantly appealed to me so it quickly found its way into my most played. There’s no video yet but I’ve got a feeling it’s coming soon.
