Finding a new Christmas song is not an easy task. They are mostly so over played at this time of year that you’ve heard them a million times. This one isn’t a standard Christmas track but it’s called Snow and there’s definitely a Christmas hint in there. 

I’ve featured Lisa Hannigan on New Music Monday before. She has a beautiful voice and creates such lovely tracks. This one is no different. It also falls into my favourite catagory of Christmas songs, delicate and maudlin rather than happy go lucky. This description of the snow making the city ‘lose colour and sound’ is so poetic perfect.
