Something I’ve been hearing a lot about recently is third pieces, that little extra that just makes an outfit. Taking your standard top and bottom and adding a third piece making you outfit blog worthy. The easy choices are to add a hat, scarf or cute bag. Some statement jewellery, amazing shoes or colourful coat can also do the trick. 

As you may have noticed from Instagram or Twitter my gorgeous niece is over from Australia for my brothers wedding, hence my quietness on social media the last few days. It also means blog photos are pushed to the bottom of my to do list, practically rules when your chasing a 5year old round a swing park. Then I spotted this red hat in H&M which is the perfect third piece for this simple outfit. 

I grabbed the hat and purchased it instantly, unfortunately in typical Glasgow style the rain started hammering down so we had to run inside for the photos.
