Is there anything better than dressing up in a fancy frock and getting your hair and make up done? One of the perks of my often stressful job is getting attend a black tie event every now and then. So last Friday I had a sneaky wee half day to get ready for one
It’s even better when a sparkly little gift like this ring drops through your letterbox a few weeks before. The lovely folks at Glitzy Secrets sent me this fabulous ring and this was the perfect event for it. I can never resist a statement ring, one with a little bit of sparkle even better.
I was tempted to add a little more sparkle with one of the necklaces or bracelets but then thought I’d let the dress do the talking. Who says you need to spend a fortune on an outfit for a formal event? This whole outfit was from the high street, well the internet high street at least.

It’s pretty good quality, the lace isn’t as good as others I’ve seen but nothing to complain about
