I’m very excited to learn that some of my favourite Scottish designers are being featured in House of Fraser in the run up to Christmas. Can you imagine nestled there right beside your go to high street and designer stores you can now pick up some Rebecca Torres, Joanne McGillivray and Saunt & Sinner.
The ‘House of Fraser presents’ series features each designer in a pop up on the 2nd floor for two weeks. The series launched on Friday with my personal favourite Rebecca Torres. I have been lusting after her gorgeous dresses for a good while now. She celebrates the female form with her use of colour and shape. The bodycon dresses may be a but scary at first but I urge you to try one on, you’ll feel fantastic I promise.
Next up on the 2nd December is the awesome Saunt and Sinner. Saunt and Sinner are duo Emma Noble and Toni Roddie. They previewed their Doomen collection in The Lighthouse earlier this year filled with awesome graphic prints. They even have a celeb following in the shape of Emeli Sande already.
Last but by no means least is the wonderful Joanne McGillivray. Scottish Fashion Awards Graduate of 2012 presents a collection full of wonderfully cut pieces and decadent prints. I’m hoping to get a chance to try on this beauty when the collection lands on the 17th December.
