What a lovely little day I had on Sunday at Merchant Square craft and design fair. I didn’t realise they had this each weekend and is definitely worth a visit. The vendors are quick strictly checked to ensure everything on offer is hand made and if good quality. Before our wander round we were tested to lunch at Metropolitan, yummy, and a very generous goody bag, awesome!
There was a lot on offer from landscape and city photos to hand stitched bunting and kids clothing. If I was to tell you about everything I loved this would be the longest post in history but I had to share a few of my favourites.
Glass Apple Studio
I’m in love with Anita’s amazing decorations and ornaments. There are some delicate little window ornaments like this butterfly, I very luckily got in my goody bag, and larger pieces too. They are finished to such a high quality and are just gorgeous.
Romster
If your like you girly accessories this lady is for you. There are cute little purses and zip bags in a variety of quirky fabrics as well as pretty beaded earrings.
Twa Burds Soap
All the toiletries a girl or boy could want. I didn’t catch the girls name but she was so helpful and knew her products inside out. She has all natural products that can help with bad skin and muscle strains. I’ve already tried my heather soap and it smells gorgeous.
Kirsty Fraser
Kirsty makes some simple yet beautiful pieces of jewellery. Made from wood I loved her honeycomb range and simple stud earrings.
A few others I was impressed with where the laser pictures from Shindigg, the Glasgow city photos from Stuart Brown Photography and the handmade cards from Card Maniac. Think l ge taking a trip back in a few months for Christmas presents.
