This morning post is a little but different, no outfit post this Saturday. I was sent this lovely little box from the girls at crafty creatives to celebrate their first Birthday in July. Unfortunately life got in the way and I only got a chance to experiment with it last weekend.
Hidden inside is a selection of craft materials to inspire your creative side. They work similarly to the beauty boxes like glossybox, where you receive a box of different treats once a month and are a similar price at £10 a month (+p&p).
Each month the box is themed and last months theme was floral. The box was slightly different this month as is contained 5 kits with instructions for making different flowers, normally there’s only 1 or 2. There’s loads of other bits and pieces included too as you can see.
I made two of the flowers last weekend, a felt rose and gorgeous lily. The instructions were really easy to follow and the only things I had to provide myself were some thread and glue.
Have to say I’m really proud of my lily. There’s enough materials provided to make a few of each flower and I’m having a little crafting afternoon to teach my mum and sister tomorrow. Any other flowers I make ill share on Instagram for you to check out.
