Winter Winds

I think this is my first proper wintery outfit post and in fact we’ve definitely dropped a few degrees since these were taken. A few weeks ago I joined the Olivedragonfly girls for brunch in the west end as part of their party weekend. My good friend Roz took these great shots, windswept and interesting springs to mind.

I have to admit I’ve had this dress for about 6years. It’s my favourite colour though and since it’s from French Connection it’s good quality and kept it’s shape. As it’s freezing I’ve got some thermal tights/leggings on. Roz had never heard of these so I joyfully shared both how cheap they are (£4) and how long they are, important for us long legged ladies!

I’ll never get over how lucky I was to snap up this gilet at a clothes swapping party. It’s perfect for when your running from car to shops or restaurants. It keeps you warm but doesn’t cause you to pass out inside, do shopping centres not realise we all have big coats and jumpers on in winter?

  1. Haha, I have found out a friend who loves green dresses!
It does suit your pretty face! And it cannot be expected to have been owned for 6 years.
It’s just like the one you bought yesterday.

I love hearing from you, let me know what you think
