These guys I heard on Zane Lowe’s show last week. They are a Skate Punk band from Los Angeles. Their name FIDLAR is an acroynm of the skate mantra, Fuck It Dog, Life’s a Risk, and that pretty much sums them up.  I’ve always had a soft spot for that reckless don’t care attitude, reminds me of being a teenager.

They have featured in quite a few ‘best of’ lists including Time Magazine’s most anticipated releases. After a number of EP’s they released their debute self titled album in January this year. This one is not for kiddies, with swearing throughout and more adult themed subject matter, lets just say these guys work hard and play harder. Perfect for a bit of anti establishment fun on a Monday.

This track is not on the album, it was originally released last year as a collaboration with Kate Nash. It was re-recorded after the album was complete and I say foolishly left off. As always let me know what you think.
