I have to say I love these tonal scale nails. So simple yet so pretty, it’s like an large scale ombre. It was a bit messy creating this look as you may have seen in Twitter.

I added increasing amounts of white polish to the same purple polish to lighten each nail. It was easy enough to do this with shellac as it needs the UV light to cure. I was able to make up a little paint pallet on some plastic. I’m not sure this plan would work with regular nail polish though.
